Manual Adjusting

One of the most used techniques our doctors use is manual adjusting. This is the hands on type of adjusting most people see or know of. The adjustment itself consists of Dr. Henke or Dr. Hecimovich applying controlled, quick pressure to joints, pushing them just beyond their restricted range of motion. “Popping” is normal during an adjustment. No, it isn’t your bones! You’re hearing the release of gas pressure that has built up in your joints, which has been causing your discomfort.

The Arthrostim Instrument

The ArthroStim® Instrument delivers true high-velocity, short-stroke thrusts at 12 cycles a second. This rapidity supersaturates the target area with specific adjustive energy (forces). The energy continues to ripple through the joint to surrounding fringe tissues. This releases secondary trigger points and sites of muscular spasm, providing the relief and corrections that doctors want. Patients notice a positive difference with the first treatment. With the Arthrostim, there is no twisting, turning or “cracking” of joints which some patients prefer and feel more comfortable with.

Active Isolated Stretching

Stretching is something we all want to do and know it is good for us, yet somehow we never manage to get around to it. Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a technique that helps people maximize the effectiveness of stretching without causing the sort of discomfort that keeps a lot of us away from it. Whether you're an exercise enthusiast or a competitive athlete, Active Isolated Stretching can help your training and recovery become more efficient and more fun.

Deep Tissue Massage

All of our Licensed Massage Therapists are trained and experienced in injury rehabilitation. One of their most common used techniques is deep tissue massage to ensure each muscle in the body gets the attention it needs. However they also practice many more techniques. Each patient receives the treatment their therapist thinks is best for them.

Cox Technique

The Cox table uses decompression and flexion as the patients lower body is stretched and lowered repetitively. This type of treatment is ideal for low back pain, bulging disks, nerve pain and much more.  The Cox® Table naturally allows the doctor’s hands to feel the exact tissue tension, as well as sense the patient’s response to decompression treatment. This hands on approach allows the chiropractor to respond immediately to the patients needs.

Animal Adjusting

Believe or not our doctors also make time to treat your furry friends! Dr. Henke has treated dogs, cats and even horses. Bring your pup in today to get the adjustment they need!

"I had my 3rd visit today and it was by far the best adjustment thus far. It was such instant relief and relaxation that I felt like I was going to fall asleep in my car driving home. I went backpacking over the weekend again FINALLY, and have been able to start working out again. I can walk around at work without having to sit down every 5 minutes! I highly recommend this chiropractor - they are super friendly and know you by name every time you visit."

"Over the years I have won my share of gifts at their events the most recent was an Amazon gift card and a water pillow. All that is bonus because their adjustments are so great and they all start with a massage table (if your time allows) which makes the adjustment so much easier."

"I would schedule here even if it was an hour drive. The massage therapists I've had are worth every penny! They take the "pressure" off of my life (pun joke)."
